Hi All, Although born in Kingston Jamaica I have lived all my life in the UK in and around London. A few years before getting married, my wife and I moved out of London into Essex, and have been living here every since. I have two great teenage kids, well they’re great when they are not being a right royal pain, but that’s par for the course. I’m still working full time, much to my disgust (my parents somehow lost my silver spool) as I think at my time of life, I should be kicking back and checking out how the leisure classes live. Anyway I’m generally healthy, and manage to pay all my bills on time, so life can’t be bad. I have had quite a few different occupations in my life, starting with an apprenticeship which I did in fabrication engineering, (sheet metal work to you and me) then I was a body builder, no not that type of body builder. I built truck bodies on to rolling chassis. From there I moved into public transport (bus conductor and then driver), then another change of direction saw me become a telegraphist. Closure of the Inland telegram service forced another change of profession on me, so I moved in the fund management arena, first as a wire operator then as a operations supervisor. An inquisitive nature and a liking for anything technical caused me to move in the system admin, and from there into programming, (still within fund management) which is where I am at the moment. As for tomorrow, who knows, I’ll have a go at anything with in reason. Take Care
